Isaac and his wife, Ahna, developed Common Ground Earthworks in 2007, out of a desire to take care of the earth and make the most of the land. They find joy in working outdoors and creating unique spaces that are both functional and beautiful. 

The business name, Common Ground, reflects the belief that this planet and it's resources are shared. Taking care of it is a responsibility and a privilege. Our mission is to enhance the beauty and functionality of the land, one property at the time.

Isaac is the owner and operator of Common Ground Eearthworks based in Tallahassee, Florida as well as Common Ground Excavation, Inc. in Maui, Hawaii. His love of nature and working with the land led him to begin constructing boulder walls across the north shore of Maui in the early 2000s. Today, he is a heavy-duty equipment operator with over 20 years of experience.
